Chamberlain – Carol Reyell

 Carol cannot say she is a native Saranac Laker, but she did move here in sixth grade, so she considers herself an “almost.” One of her fondest high school memories is being on the Winter Carnival Court, and she is excited to be part of the royal family again, and would like to thank this year’s court for the fun she knows she’s going to have. After graduating from SUNY Potsdam, Carol returned to her hometown and has been teaching at the Saranac Lake Middle School ever since. She is married to Jeff Reyell, whom she met in that same sixth grade classroom, and they have two special kids, Kurt and Lisa, who make their lives sparkle. Some of Carol’s favorite pastimes are family dinners, reading on the beach at camp, and getting together whenever she can with good friends. And although this year’s winter carnival theme is “Hooray for Hollywood,” Carol would much prefer to say, “Hooray for Saranac Lake” because she wouldn’t trade her hometown for Hollywood for a second!
