David Snyder  is the son of long-time Saranac Lake resident Carol Baker and David Snyder, Sr. He has one brother, Peter, who is in his junior year of high school. Another person who has been important in his life is Kelly Wight who has had a great influence on him. David has played varsity football for the past three years with his team having a very memorable playoff run a year ago, making it to the state semi-finals. He also plays lacrosse and basketball. He is excited again to share the Carnival Stage with the pages from the 2001 Winter Carnival. David plans to attend college in the fall to pursue a career in physical therapy. He would like to thank his classmates, both moms, his dad, grandma, Peter and all his aunts and uncles, especially Clyde Baker and Sue Rice. He would also like to thank the Women’s Civic Chamber for their continued support throughout the community.
