Brittany Leslie Maria Jones, daughter of Maria and Erle, is a Canadian citizen who lives in Vancouver, British Columbia with her two brothers, Derrick and Jarred.  Brittany will graduate from North Country Community College in May, 2010 with a degree in Sports and Events Management.  She plans to continue her education at a four-year university to complete a Bachelors Degree in this same field of study.  She is also a former competitive figure skater who has turned toward coaching.  She intends to continue to progress along the levels of Professional Figure Skating Coaching.  Her figure skating has produced numerous honors and awards and she has been selected as a 2010 Olympic Torchbearer.  She has volunteered as a coach in soccer, basketball, volleyball, and figure skating.  She was also a global volunteer in Lima, Peru.  Brittany is a Resident Assistant at the NCCC dorms and 2009-10 North Country Community College Student Trustee.  She has found time for volunteer activities throughout her high school and college careers and intends to continue that community involvement in the future.
