Chamberlain Josh Marlow

Josh was born in North Bangor, NY and was raised on his parents’ dairy farm before attending SUNY Oswego. He graduated from Oswego in 2003 with his BA in Technology Education. Josh was offered a teaching position at Saranac Lake High School for the start of the 2003-2004 school year and the rest is history. He went on to receive his Masters Degree, also from Oswego, in the summer of 2004. Josh currently lives in Bloomingdale with his wife Hannah. Josh has now taught technology at Saranac Lake High School for nine years. In the summer, you can find Josh working at Fogarty’s Lake Flower Marina where he has been a marine mechanic for the last eight years. When not working, Josh serves on the Saranac Lake Teachers’ Negotiation Committee, the Saranac Lake Safety Committee and is a past member of the Technology Committee. He has also been the JV Boys’ Soccer Coach for the past four seasons. Outside of school, Josh enjoys snowmobiling, hiking, snow shoeing, taking care of all his fish and playing soccer with his athletes. He is truly honored and excited to have been chosen as Chamberlain of this year’s Carnival and looks forward to all the fun festivities with the students.
