VERA FINEGAN

 Vera Finegan was born in Saranac Lake. She is the daughter of Victor and Agnes Lashway, both deceased. She has one son, Tim Finegan, with her husband Dick Finegan, who is deceased. Vera is a graduate of Saranac Lake High School and went to Union University School of Nursing as well as Plattsburgh State University. She worked for the Saranac Lake Central School District as the elementary nurse teacher until her retirement in 2004. Vera’s special interests include bowling, golfing and walking. Her volunteer work includes the Adirondack Medical Center, High Peaks Hospice and the Uihlein Mercy Center. Vera is an active member of St. Bernard’s Church, where she serves as lector and communicate minister as well as a Grand regent of the Catholic Daughters of America.
