                The sixteen members of the 2009 Winter Carnival court are all seniors at Saranac Lake High School. They have been chosen by their peers to represent the school throughout the festivities. They, in turn, have chosen the Archbishop and Chamberlain for the Winter Carnival. The court members are responsible for raising all the funds that are needed for their formal outfits and other activities that they participate in during the Winter Carnival week. Hair styling services have been donated by Liz & Company, Salon Mirage and Mountain Moon Day Spa. The ladies and gentlemen of the court appreciate the assistance provided to them by various businesses and individuals.They are particularly grateful to their choreographer, Katy Van Anden, as well as to the Belvedere Restaurant, Salon Mirage for the use of their dance studio, Cinderella’s , T.F. Finnigan’s, The Elks Club, The Whiteface Club of the Masons, Nate Webb, Sam Baker, Leah Detar and Paige Moody. The court would also like to take this opportunity to thank anyone else who has supported their fundraising efforts. Unused monies are returned to the community. In the past, donations have been made to the Civic Center, The Getaway and undergraduate classes.
