Jennifer Moore

Jennifer was born on the army base of Fort Lewis in Tacoma, Wash. and grew up on a small farm in the Finger Lakes region of New York state. She is the daughter of Jesse and Jolinda and the younger sister of Benjamin. As a child, she helped raise cows, chickens, ducks and turkeys and had her own pony, which she made pull her around in a carriage.

After graduating from Watkins Glen High School, Jennifer studied art at SUNY New Paltz, where she earned her bachelor's degree. After relocating to the Adirondacks, she went on to study education at St. Lawrence University, student taught at the Saranac Lake High School in 1996, and the rest is history. She is currently the adviser to the high school's yearbook, "The Canaras."

In addition to teaching, Jennifer is the proud mom of two busy boys: Easton and Marshal, who love the Adirondacks and want to live here forever. Jennifer also loves to hike and is officially halfway to being an Adirondack 46'er.

Jennifer is humbled to be a part of this year's Winter Carnival Court and thinks this will be the best Winter Carnival ever.
