Julian Gambacurta- Julian is the son of Barb Gowan and Vince Gambacurta, and brother of Corinne. He is a member of the track and field team, co-treasure of Model United Nations, participant in Adirondack Young Life, and spends time on the local trails or on the water working as a lifeguard at Lake Colby Beach. He greatly enjoys his time within the SLHS Music Department and is in Concert Choir, Men's Vocal Ensemble, and the annual spring musical. He hopes to pursue a degree in aeronautical engineering in college next fall. Julian is highly honored to be part of this year's court and would like to wish everyone a fun and festive carnival!

World Premiere of 'Ice Palace, A Love Letter' Movie
2019-10-08 - During the 2016 Saranac Lake Winter Carnival, New York City Filmmaker Mark Burns came to Saranac Lake to capture the process from start to finish of what it takes to make the carnival happen. That year, the weather gave us many challenges, and Mark's camera caught all the drama. We're excited that Mark’s film, 'Ice Palace, A Love Letter', will have its world premiere at the Lake Placid Film Festival on October 27, 2019 at 6:30 p.m.
