Page Couple # One

Chapin Oliver Shatraw was born in Saranac Lake. She lives at home with her sister Tristan and her parents, Seth and Sara. She is a 3rd grader in Mrs. Phelan's class at Petrova Elementary. Chapin loves to read and do any kind of art. She also loves dancing at The Dance Sanctuary. If you ever need to find her, your best bet is to look for her dog Bogey, and Chape will not be far from his side! She is always thrilled to spend time with her cousins, near and far. Chapin is so grateful for this special opportunity and is excited for the busy week ahead! She especially wants to thank ALL of her family and her friends for being so supportive and loving her.
"Happy Carnival, Peeps!"

Abel Williams loves living in Saranac Lake and is thrilled, honored and even a bit nervous to be chosen as a Page in this year's Winter Carnival. He is in third grade at Petrova Elementary and lives in the village with his parents Michael and Cindy and younger sister Ruby. His top three interests include Lego building, playing soccer and ice skating. Abel looks forward to Winter Carnival every year; he enjoys exploring the ice palace, building floats for the parade and attending the fireworks while standing on a frozen Lake Flower in the bitter cold. Abel thanks his teachers for nominating him to be a unique part of this year's event

Page Couple # Two

Madelynn "Maddy" Frechette, is the daughter of Michael and Lisa Frechette. She is the big sister to her little brother and sister. Maddy loves her dog named Bruschi, as well as math, reading, and going to school. She also enjoys playing soccer and going swimming when the sun is shining. Maddy hopes to be a teacher when she grows up! She is excited to be a part of the Winter Carnival Court as a Page this year.

Emmerich Hans Denkenberger, born on April 11, 2011, lives with his mom, dad, brother, sister, and his little dog, Desi. In fact, he loves animals so he was overjoyed to get Desi. Some of Emmerich's hobbies include skiing, fishing, hunting, and he likes going to work with his dad, who is a forester. Emmerich hopes to be one someday, too. When he isn't doing any of those activities, you can find him hanging out with friends or playing with Legos. All in all, Emmerich is a fun kid who loves adventures, exploring, and you can always count on him to catch a great big fish for dinner, or maybe even a buck if he's lucky!

Page Couple # Three

Julia Walkow is thrilled to be a page in this year's Winter Carnival. She lives in Saranac Lake with her parents, Erin and Andy; older sister, Abigail; and two guinea pigs, Stella and Lulu. She goes to Petrova Elementary and enjoys reading, drawing, dancing, and performing in plays. In the winter, she can be found skiing at Dewey, Pisgah, and Whiteface, and in the summer, camping on Lower Saranac Lake. Julia especially loves Greek Mythology and wants to thank her sister for introducing her to the Percy Jackson book series, which she has now read 13 times. She wishes all of you a very Happy Carnival!

Zander Clark is the son of Peter and Jami Clark, and the youngest brother of Maria, Avery, Kylee, and Madison. He is a student at Petrova Elementary, where he is a member of the Enrichment Program and the Petrova Chess Club. He loves playing soccer, snowboarding, going outside, playing video games, ice fishing with his dad, and Nerf battles. Zander would like to wish everyone a legendary winter carnival!
