Lake Flower Boat Launch Parking Lot Restrictions

SARANAC LAKE – The Lake Flower Boat Launch parking lot next to the Ice Palace is closed for safety and traffic reasons during the Saranac Lake Winter Carnival on 2/2, 2/3, 2/9 and 2/10. On these days, this parking lot is reserved for handicap parking only.

To compensate, on the weekends more parking is available at North Country Community College at 23 Santanoni Avenue and Saranac Lake Middle School at 79 Canaras Avenue. In addition, we have increased free shuttles to the Ice Palace to pick up and drop off about every 15 minutes.

We encourage people to plan ahead so they know where to park. We offer a map which details all available parking lots and the shuttle schedule on our website at: www.saranaclakewintercarnival.com/visit/venues-parking-and-restaurants.

World Premiere of 'Ice Palace, A Love Letter' Movie
2019-10-08 - During the 2016 Saranac Lake Winter Carnival, New York City Filmmaker Mark Burns came to Saranac Lake to capture the process from start to finish of what it takes to make the carnival happen. That year, the weather gave us many challenges, and Mark's camera caught all the drama. We're excited that Mark’s film, 'Ice Palace, A Love Letter', will have its world premiere at the Lake Placid Film Festival on October 27, 2019 at 6:30 p.m.
