Saranac Lake, NY – During the 2016 Saranac Lake Winter Carnival, New York City Filmmaker Mark Burns came to Saranac Lake to capture the process from start to finish of what it takes to make the carnival happen. That year, the weather gave us many challenges, and Mark's camera caught all the drama. We're excited that Mark’s film, 'Ice Palace, A Love Letter', will have its world premiere at the Lake Placid Film Festival on October 27, 2019 at 6:30 p.m.

Saranac Lake, NY – Members of the Saranac Lake Winter Carnival Committee and the public who attended the committee meeting on April 23 have chosen 'Myths and Legends' as the theme for the 2020 Carnival.

Saranac Lake, NY – The Saranac Lake Winter Carnival Gala Parade results are as follows for the winners of first and second place trophies in various categories, as well as the Louis Fobare Memorial Trophy for Best of Show.

Saranac Lake, NY – The Arctic Golf Build-an-Obstacle Contest was held on February 2 and challenged contestants to build miniature golf obstacles out of snow for the Arctic Golf event held the following day. The three most creative obstacles, out of six in total, were chosen by members of the Winter Carnival royalty.
