Ruggers in the Snow
Snow rugby is an annual co-ed slippery, cold, entertaining and snow filled rugby match hosted by the Mountaineers every winter carnival. All are invited to play or come and watch as we generally make a fool of ourselves trying to play the skilled game of rugby in mittens, snow boots and sometimes traditional rugby shorts against everyone's better judgement.
Can-Am Rugby is a nonprofit organization and with a mission to (besides putting on the best rugby tournament in the USA which brings enormous revenue into the Tri-Lakes area) give back to local youth and other area programs. They are happy to help sponsor Winter Carnival.
