Julia Paul Chapin - Julia is the daughter of Bill and Amy, sister to Jay. Julia enjoys school and is currently in the New Vision program. She is involved in many extracurricular activities, including Co-President of the National Honor Society, Treasurer and Co-Editor of the Canaras Yearbook, and a member of Student Council and French Club. Julia also participates in year round athletics. She plays soccer and lacrosse for the Redstorm and has been a captain of both varsity teams. In the winter, she is a competitive figure skater and a volunteer junior coach. She plans to attend college in the fall and study science or medicine. Julia was a page in third grade and is honored and excited to be a part of the Winter Carnival Court once again.

World Premiere of 'Ice Palace, A Love Letter' Movie
2019-10-08 - During the 2016 Saranac Lake Winter Carnival, New York City Filmmaker Mark Burns came to Saranac Lake to capture the process from start to finish of what it takes to make the carnival happen. That year, the weather gave us many challenges, and Mark's camera caught all the drama. We're excited that Mark’s film, 'Ice Palace, A Love Letter', will have its world premiere at the Lake Placid Film Festival on October 27, 2019 at 6:30 p.m.
